Bioinformatics Center
The Bioinformatics Center develops, deploys, and maintains computational tools within
the Arizona Genomics Institute. The Bioinformatics group consists of a
Bioinformatics Coordinator, a Senior Programmer, a Junior Programmer, and a
Bioinformatics Analyst. This Center also collaborates with the
AGI Informatics System Administrator. The focus of the informatics group is on pipeline management. Development priorities for pipeline management include: sequence data management solutions and sequence data retrival/delivery solutions for end-users. Lastly, the group provides and delivers applications for data analysis: including sequence annotation and genomic repeats identification.
